3. How we use your information
We use personal information only where the law allows it. Each use relies on one of the lawful bases below.
Purpose | Lawful basis |
Answering enquiries and preparing quotes | Steps before entering a contract; legitimate interests in responding to businesses that contact us |

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced our interests against your rights. You can ask us for details of that assessment.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only when needed for the purposes in section 3:

5. International transfers
We operate in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland, so information may move between the UK and the EU. The UK and EU each recognise the other as providing adequate protection, so these transfers need no extra safeguards.
Some of our service providers (for example Google or Microsoft) may process data outside the UK and EU, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the UK-US Data Bridge), the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for a copy of the relevant safeguard.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it.

Marketing contacts | Until you opt out, or 3 years without engagement |
Cookie data | See the cookie table in section 9 |
7. Keeping your information secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our website, access controls and passwords, staff training, and contracts requiring our service providers to keep data secure.
No system is completely secure. If a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and the regulator where the law requires.
8. Your rights
